26 Aug Top line-up in Münster for the BEMER Riders Tour
(Münster) The 5th leg of the BEMER Riders Tour in Münster from 25 – 28 August 2022 promises to be a real treat. World Championship riders Marcus Ehning (Borken) and Jana Wargers (Bocholt/ BEL), European Champion André Thieme (Plau am See), Aachen winner Gerrit Nieberg (Münster), Rider of the Year Patrick Stühlmeyer (Steinfeld) and current BEMER Riders Tour ranking leader, Sophie Hinners (Marburg) will be competing at the four-star event in front of Münster Castle.
Simply outstanding — the entry list
The classy show is the fifth of eight legs of the BEMER Riders Tour and, as last in 2019, before the pandemic-induced break, shines with a diverse, top-class programme. Sports festival and social meeting point, the Turnier der Sieger is all that in the horse country of North Rhine-Westphalia. Local hero Gerrit Nieberg, having the first eleven points in the international series on his account, wants to attack with Blues d`Aveline CH. “Stühli”, Patrick Stühlmeyer, whose little son Ben has just been born, is likely to compete in Münster with enormous momentum — or perhaps a little “tired”?
European Champion Thieme will bring his Derby horse Contadur and also the experienced Conacco, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (Pinneberg) will have her Nations Cup horse Messi van ‘t Ruytershof. Eventing ace Michael Jung from Horb a.N. will once again be starting in Münster and Sweden will be sending one of their best young showjumpers in Douglas Lindelöw. A total of 51 riders from 12 nations will be competing with 125 horses at the CSI4* in Münster.
Fingers crossed from Saturday
The run for points for the ranking of the BEMER Riders Tour already starts on Saturday with the qualification for the competition. In the Marktkauf Cup from 7.00 pm, an international show jumping competition with jump-off, the best 50 pairs will qualify for the rating competition.
This takes place on Sunday in the Grand Prix of the Auto Nagel Group from 3.00 pm onwards. This is an international jumping competition with two rounds. It can be seen live on site, but also at www.clipmyhorse.tv.
If you want to be there, you only need tickets for the grandstand and standing area, no tickets are required for the exhibition and plaza area.
